This was written by a little 6 year old girl. I babysit her and her two sisters - Rebecca and Mia, and before they go to bed they all sit down and write little prayers to God.
This was the one that Hollie wrote last time, and it absolutely broke my heart. I mean, she’s six years old and she thinks she’s not beautiful. That’s not right. But she is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. She’s got golden blonde hair, bright green eyes and a smile so beautiful that you melt a little inside when you see it.
When their mum got home, I showed her Hollie’s prayer, and she was devastated. She’s a nurse so she’s seen a lot of horrible things, but I have never seen her like that. And so I had to do something.
If you’re reading this, and if you have the slightest bit of a heart, please reblog this, so that I can prove to Hollie that she is beautiful, and that she is so special, and that God made her exactly the way she is because He knows that He made her perfect. Have you ever had one of those moments when you feel taking back by it? Like you feel their touch or their kiss and you feel amazed and it makes you wonder how you ever lived without this person to begin with. I love those moments, it’s that feeling right there at that moment that hits your heart that makes you feel so special. And I love how it isn’t necessarily what you do that makes things special, but it’s who’s you spend those moments with that make it unforgettable. That’s why when I am dating a girl, I like to make every moment with her special.
I want to kiss her, hold her, cuddle with her, dine with her, wake up in the morning with her, because it is me and her that make the moment worthwhile it’s not where we are or what we’re doing. And I have learned that by doing things that way, every moment together is something to remember, it’s another mental picture to place in that scrapbook we call memories. When you are in a beautiful place, it is even more special, but again it is special because she is there.
It’s being happy anywhere as long you’re spending time together. I focus on her, instead of my surroundings. I make her the magical ingredient of our date and day. Put your focus on her and the scenery will be nothing but an addition to her wonderful existence. Walk around with her, bump into to her so you can steal a kiss while you are doing something, hold hands while you talk, shop together, laugh together, smile together and enjoy the time. The simple things say it all. Make everything you do together a date .<3
